This issue does not seem resolved and has at least three very similar pages;-

The =HYPERLINK("","")... is a nice way to get there except it firstly begets a warning dialog about opening safely, then it just similarly generates the error message about not finding a browser.
The "insert hyperlink" menu item is a way to "sort of" see what the values in a cell might be, but it is doing a big job and is as tired as a chef in Macdonalds on a Saturday night.
Having to use an insert command to view something does not seem friendly.
The Hyperlink dialog would be more wonderful with clues showing how to fill items such as the target cell reference correctly.
It's like having the keys to a wonderful RollsRoyce, or machine of your choice, but not knowing to do with the other controls.
