You can transfer your recipe notes and other documents from OneNote, Word, and Excel to OpenOffice with these steps:

1. Transfer Recipes from OneNote to OpenOffice:
Open the specific recipe in OneNote.
Select the text or content you want to transfer.
Right-click and choose Copy.
Open OpenOffice Writer and Paste the copied content directly into a new document.
Save the file in OpenOffice’s native format (.odt) or any other desired format.
Tip: If the formatting looks off after pasting, use the “Paste Special” option (available in OpenOffice under Edit > Paste Special) and choose Unformatted Text to simplify formatting.

2. Transfer Word Docs from Microsoft 365 to OpenOffice:
Open your Word document in Microsoft Word.
Save the file as .doc or .docx (if it’s not already).
Open OpenOffice Writer and click File > Open. Navigate to the saved file, select it, and click Open.
OpenOffice Writer supports .doc and .docx formats, so you should be able to edit the document directly.

3. Transfer Excel Documents to OpenOffice:
Open your Excel spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel.
Save it as .xls or .xlsx.
Open OpenOffice Calc and click File > Open. Locate the saved Excel file and open it.
OpenOffice Calc supports .xls and .xlsx formats, so the file should open without issues.
