Just tried setting Tools > Options > LanguageSettings > Languages > Locale setting to English (Canada) and the format for a date does not include the century, thus is not ISO 8601 [EDIT it is a *deprecated* version of ISO 8601]. Is there a config file somewhere that can be hacked, and if so, how perilous is the hacking?
EDIT: So I tracked down main/i18npool/source/localedata/data/en_US.xml in the repo, and it looks like it gets compiled somehow -- guessing (hoping?) into localedata_en.dll -- and if so, then perhaps there's a way just to edit and rebuild just that. Don't have time to futz around with it today, tho....
